We would like to introduce a case study of the "fluororesin cushion packing" used in large flanged parts of industrial equipment. For a massive ring shape exceeding an outer diameter of 900A, it was necessary to precisely arrange numerous bolt holes. We adopted water jet processing, which allows for high-precision cutting while minimizing thermal effects on the composite material, the fluororesin cushion material.
